Suggested items for class

Comfortable Clothing, a Water Bottle, a Notebook/Pen, and a Positive Attitude :)

Email Communication

By registering for class, you agree to receive occasional communication regarding class details, assignments, and upcoming classes. If you no longer wish to receive communication, email info@emilyember.com and you will be promptly removed.

Attendance

Please be on time and stay for the duration of the class; aim to attend the majority of our sessions together. It is disruptive if students are habitually late or habitually leave early. Of course, things do come up. If you know ahead of time that you will be absent, late, or need to duck out early, please let me know in advance. We are building an ensemble and a place of trust where we can take risks. This can only happen when we are all together.

Technology

Silence all cell phones and other devices (including smart watches). Out of respect, please do not use your technology during class.

Media Capture

Photography, Video and Audio recording of any kind during the class is prohibited. The only exception is during our final class performance.

Visitors

Guests are not allowed to attend regular classes. A limited number of guests/visitors are invited to attend the final class performance.

Student Behavior

As this is an Improv & Faith Class, what we are doing here is for the glory of God and the building of His Kingdom. Therefore please aim to be respectful in speech and actions. Avoid using profane language or making sexual innuendos, and treat your scene partners with dignity. However, scene themes can deal with sinful behavior: for example robbing a bank, plotting a murder, or a couple dealing with infidelity in their marriage.
